After the clothes have been washed and dried, IRON them if they need it.  Wrinkled items don't sell!!

Hanging Instructions
  • All garments should be hung with the hanger hook pointing left (hanger should resemble a question "?" mark when looking at the front of item). Safety pin clothing sets securely with pants hung on the backside of the shirt, so both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them.  Please safety pin pants to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

Please have your clothes sorted by size and gender to make drop off easier and faster for you!

Tagging

  • SAFETY PINS

Please use 1" or larger safety pins: no straight pins or small gold ones.  Remember all multi-piece clothing items must be safety pinned together through all pieces. This will prevent your items from separating.

  • TAGGING GUN                                                                                                                                                                                                 We recommend the use of a tagging gun! It is much quicker, and it leaves almost no markings from the tags this way. If you are interested in ordering a tag gun, they can be purchased online at Ebay or at local stores like Staples and Office Max.
  • CLOTHING PLACEMENT                                                                                                                                                                          Attach card with either the safety pins or the tagging gun to the label of the shirt or  pants. If you use a tagging gun please insert the gun in a label or inside seam NOT through part of the clothing.  This will avoid making a hole or tear in the clothing.  Ensure tag is securely attached by pulling on it slightly.  Please make sure your consignor tags are pulled out of the clothing so they are visible to our shoppers
  • TOYS AND BABY EQUIPMENT
Fasten tags securely to your items with clear PACKING tape; this is much stronger that scotch tape.  You can also punch a hole in the top of your item tag and attach the tag securely with ribbon or string, or zip tie.

Only use multiple tags for items that belong together.

  •  SHOES                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Please limit to your best.  Make sure that the shoes are clean!  Fasten shoes together with ribbon, string, or Zip ties by punching a hole in the top of your tag and attaching the tag to the shoes.  Zip ties can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes.

  • PRICING
Minimum price of $1.00 with only .50 increments accepted.
Items with no tags will be sold at our discretion.  We will do our best to match consignor and item to give credit.

Stain Removal Tips

Washable Fabrics

  • OxiClean Baby, OxiClean Versatile, Clorox Bleach Pen, Carbona, Mother's Miracle and Tide Stain Sticks.
Try these for those really stubborn stains:
    • Tilex Bathroom Cleaner works wonders on white clothes with mildew stains, contains bleach so stay away from dark clothes.
    • Greased Lightning, sold with household cleaners. Spray directly on stain; the clothing changes color but it will return to original color after washing. Most stains will come out, for difficult stains repeat.
    • Goop works well on grease stains.
  • Fresh protein stains can often be removed by soaking and agitating in cold water before washing. Do not use hot water as it can cook the protein into the clothes making the stain more difficult to remove.
  • Never put a stained fabric in the dryer, the heat will set the stain. Start the treatment process again.
  • Soak dingy white shoe laces in Biz and you will see a remarkable difference!!!

 Plastics/Toys

  • The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a GREAT tool for cleaning plastic toys!
  • Goo Gone will remove adhesive tags, marks, scraps off plastic toys, etc.
  • WD-40 will remove crayon marks with ease.
